Oscar Ardila’s work as curator and art historian has been around the representation of the historic memory on the public sphere. One of the concept he has been working with is call ‘Memory Field’ as description of a territory that gathers monuments and its significants in a urban place. His works have been inserted in Berlin and Bogotá as an strategy to stabilise a dialogue between citizens and artistic initiatives. The curatorial project Erinnerungsfelder has been awarded with the Fundación Gilberrto Alzate Avendaño grant. Oscar works in cooperation with the office for Public art in Berlin as author and as jury. At the moment is candidate for the PhD in the studies for Hotorical Memory Representations at the Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt in Germany.
